Fee Configuration

A healthcare insurer may impose additional costs for, for example, replacing a lost insurance card, issuing a new policy or changing the policyholder on an existing policy. Oracle Health Insurance Enterprise Policy Administration has an embedded calculation method to calculate non-premium related fees. The method relies on Fee Schedules and Change Event Rules.

Change event rules are configurable business rules. Through these rules the system detects changes to operational data and flag these data for fee calculation.
