Single sign on ensures that users who are logged on to one ATG application are not prompted for authentication when they run another ATG application.
You can ensure that your users benefit from single sign on by ensuring that both ACI and PowerPlay use the same Series 7 namespace as their authentication source. Alternatively, you can ensure that the authentication namespaces used for both ACI and PowerPlay are configured to use an external single sign on mechanism for authentication, such as operating system sign ons for Series 7 PowerPlay or LDAP provider with External Identity Mapping in ReportNet.
