Most tasks performed by commerce business users, such as managing and populating catalogs, are accomplished in the ATG Merchandising UI. The ATG Merchandising UI is part of the ATG Business Control Center, which is a Web-based interface that governs all content management activities. Although it’s possible to create assets in the main portion of the ATG Business Control Center, all commerce assets should be created, modified, and deleted in the ATG Merchandising UI.
ATG Merchandising users perform some tasks in other user interfaces. Here’s a summary of merchandising tasks and user interfaces you use to perform them:
