Samples

WebLogic Integration includes a rich set of sample applications that provide a means for you to learn the product, to verify that the software is installed correctly, and show implementation techniques for your own WebLogic Integration solutions. Running these samples is strongly recommended.

 Learning to Use WebLogic Integration

Describes the WebLogic Integration sample. The sample application automates a number of business processes, integrates back-end enterprise information systems (EIS), and deploys a supply-chain hub that connects business partners. Using this document, you will learn how to set up and run the sample application, and understand how the integrated solution is architected and developed using WebLogic Integration.

Learning to Use BPM with WebLogic Integration

Steps you through the WebLogic Integration Studio and Worklist applications, using three workflow examples to describe the process of defining and executing workflows based on a simple sales order scenario.

 Running the B2B Integration Samples

Describes how to run the following suite of B2B e-commerce sample applications:

Hello Partner

Channel Master

RosettaNet Security

Lightweight Trading Partner

Messaging API

EDI Sample

 Developing Adapters

Includes the following two sample adapters:

DBMS Sample Adapter

eMail Sample Adapter (deprecated in Release 2.1)

 Programming BPM Client Applications

Introduces the BPM functionality of the WebLogic Integration API, and describes how to use the API to create custom clients for configuration, design, run-time management, or monitoring:

"BPM API Examples" in BPM API Development

Programming BPM Plug-Ins for WebLogic Integration

Introduces the WebLogic Integration plug-in API, and describes how to use the API to create custom plug-ins:

 Translating Data with WebLogic Integration

Includes a sample application that installs a servlet to accept requests for conversion of binary data to XML. The servlet is accessed via a browser and responds by displaying the generated XML data. In addition, the data is posted to the WebLogic Integration event topic in either XML or binary format. The data may then be used to start a WebLogic Integration workflow.
