This manual provides installation instructions for the SCSI Expansion Pedestal. The basic system consists of the system enclosure and the SCSI trays within the enclosure. The manual is divided into the following chapters:

Note - This manual does not cover the installation procedures for internal devices. For information on installing internal devices in your SCSI Expansion Pedestal, refer to the SCSI Expansion Pedestal Service Manual (P/N 800-7286-xx), which is available through your local Sun Sales or Field Service office.

This manual does not include specific software commands or procedures. Instead, software tasks are named and you can refer to the operating system documentation that was shipped with your system when you need help with commands or procedures such as:

1.3 Task Map for Getting Your System Running
