ATG Content Administration, ATG Merchandising, and ATG Outreach include preview features that you can use to test content on a sample user profile before you deploy it. Before you can use the preview features, you need to perform the setup steps described in this section.
Set up the preview user profile repository. See Defining and Populating the Preview Profile Repository.
Create a Web application containing the pages you want to use for the preview. See Creating Preview Pages.
Configure preview URL view mappings that specify the pages to call when a Preview button is clicked. See Configuring Preview URLS.
Start the ATG Business Control Center with the appropriate command. See Running the Application with the Preview Layer.
