Using REST Web Services

This section provides general information about and instructions for using the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform REST Web Services interface.

You must do the following before you can use the REST Web Services.

  1. Start the REST module on the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform server. See Starting the REST module.

  2. Configure the security settings to give at least one user permission to use REST Web Services. See Security for REST Web Services.

  3. Log in to the REST Web Services server and configure your HTTP client software to pass the session ID to the server with each HTTP request. See Logging In.
