When you start a REST session, the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform REST interface sets the session confirmation number, session id, and the default input and output customizers.
Start a session by doing one of the following:
Log in to the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform REST interface. See Logging in and Logging Out with the Java Client Library.
Invoke the
RestSession.startSession()method. This will start the session but does not authenticate the client for access to secured Oracle ATG Web Commerce components. See Starting a Session Without Logging In.
