ximrc file is the environment setting file of Wnn8LE. Different settings are possible for each user. If the same entry appears more than once, the last one will take priority. Lines beginning with semicolons (;) are comments.
Wnn8LE searches for this file in the following order.
$HOME/.Wnn8/ximrc (user setting)
/etc/wnn/ximrc (system setting)
/usr/lib/wnn/ximrc (initial setting)
Entries are set in the following style:
entry value ...
value is input with language name or file name. entry and value are separated from Space or Tab. Line beginning with semicolon (;) is a comment line.
Contents that can be described by this configuration file are described below. When they are not set, default is used.
Specifies the uumrc file corresponding to the using language. When omitted, the reference sequence of uumrc is applied.
Specifies the language name of Roman alphabet conversion. Reads the Roman alphabet definition file specified by the uumrc corresponding to the language.
Specifies the type of layout to used for the next candidate list. The specification is made as follows:
