This issue is fixed in System Software 1.1.0.
If you attempt to boot from a bootable USB device but do not have it plugged into the server before starting system, the system might not recognize the device as a boot device.
Workaround
Plug in the USB bootable device.
Power on, or power cycle, the system.
Press F8 when prompted to display the boot menu.
Select the USB boot device.
