If you are using a serial console to access the GRUB menu, pressing "e" might cause Oracle ILOM to reboot multiple times, making the system unresponsive.
If your system becomes unresponsive for this reason, power it off and perform one of the actions in the workaround before accessing the GRUB menu again.
To prevent this from happening, perform one of the following actions:
Use video console redirection to access the GRUB menu.
Update your server to system software release 1.3.1 or newer.
