In an LDAP-based user directory, information flows from LDAP into the Oracle Commerce Platform. For this reason, if you remove information from LDAP using LDAP administration tools, you must also remove the corresponding information from the Oracle Commerce Platform environment by hand. This step is not performed automatically. For example: if you remove the organizational unit with DN “ou=People,dc=atg.com” from LDAP, you must also remove the organization whose name is People from the Oracle Commerce Platform.
