Restrict Remote root Access Using SSH

By default, the root user is permitted to remotely access each of the storage servers.

  1. Log into the storage server as celladmin.

    See Log into the Storage Server OS.

  2. Disable remote root access through SSH.
    # /opt/oracle.cellos/host_access_control rootssh --lock
    
  3. Verify the setting.
    # /opt/oracle.cellos/host_access_control rootssh --status
