9.126 (x86 Only) Cannot Use Installation Media to Upgrade Oracle VM Server if Earlier than Release 3.3.x

Upgrading an instance Oracle VM Server earlier than Release 3.3.x from the installation media is not supported. Upgrades from releases earlier than Release 3.3.x involve transitional steps that require you to configure and set up Yum repositories.
