Remarks on program function
The specific data for clearing parameters can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be displayed for information.
After defining the clearing type with program Clearing parameter and linking it to the system, the specific parameter should then be set - here the Finnish -.
Remarks on data fields
The following description deals with all available options for update of this basic data.
As with nearly all other programs the following also applies here:
- The entry mask for this program may differ in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program. Some data fields may be missing.
- There may be defaults or firmly defined selection options for some data fields. These cannot be updated in the current program.
- Fields with enforced entry defined are to be found in the entry masks as are fields where entry is optional.
- If the data record is updated over several pages of entry masks, the dialog window is reached by clicking on the appropriate button with <Mouse key 1>.
- The same procedure also applies to call up of another update program from this program.
- In some cases you may find so-called "Buttones" which are activated or deactivated by the user with <Mouse key 1>, depending on the setting. Activated Buttones have a dark top, deactivated Buttones are lighter.
Company
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Select the number of the company on which level the parameters are to be defined. Entry is enforced.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.
Company update is done with program Company.
Branch
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 99999
Select the number of the branch on which level the parameters are to be defined. The entry is enforced.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.
Branch update is done with program Branch.
Clearing institute
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the institute which authorises credit card payment. Entry is enforced.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.
Institute update is done with program Clearing institute.
Installation
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the installation for which parameters are to be defined. Entry is enforced.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.
Installation update is done with program Installation.
Process unit
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Number of the processing unit for which parameters are to be defined. Entry is enforced.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.
Processing unit update is done with program Process unit.
Device no.
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Enter the device no. to which the parameters are to be linked. Entry is enforced.
If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.
Device nos. are updated with program Devices.
Directory of batch file
Entry range permitted: max. 40 alphanumeric pos.
Enter the path and the directory in which the batch file which is drawn up by the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application is stored.

Enter the name of the program which transfers the batch file to the bank.
