Function Key Table

The following program description deals with:

Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program, you can maintain the data for the function key table, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already existing data for information purposes.

In this table, the keyboard events for the function keys are assigned to the function keys F1 to F12 of the standard PC keyboard, depending on the current terminal state.

The assignment of this table to a particular Terminal allows operation of the terminal application via the function keys of the standard PC keyboard.

Note:
Please note that if the PC keyboard is used at the terminal, a device of the type PC Terminal Keyboard with an appropriate Keyboard for the positions of the function keys has to be configured in the system.

Please note that the alignment of the keys on the PC terminal keyboard (rows and columns) differs from that of a terminal keyboard. Information on the positions can be found in the description PC Terminal Keyboard Map.
