The following program description deals with:
By use of this program you can maintain the price groups in the system, i.e. add new records, change or delete the existing ones. The stored data can be displayed on the screen for enquiry only.
In price groups, the price endings are stored in tables. These are used to set the prices of the items after a Price Change operation.
The values in the Price Ending Table have to be entered in ascending order. The value "0.00" is allowed only at the beginning of a table. The number of digits entered will be used for rounding, e.g., 0.00 rounds the last 2 digits, 1.45 the last 3 of the calculated price.
price endings only become effective during a price change if the corresponding price group has been linked to an Item.
Note that a linked Price Grid will have a higher priority than a linked price group, i.e. if a price grid is assigned to a price change, a linked price group will be ignored.
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:

Select the number of the company for which the price group is to be processed.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the price group stored in the system.
When creating a new record, an unused number can be entered in this Key Field.
For changes or deletions, the record can be retrieved by entering the numbers in the key field. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 characters
For creating a new record, enter the name of the price group in this field. A descriptive text should be entered (e.g. EUR0 to EUR10, EUR10 to EUR100).

Permitted input range: decimal, max. 10 digits with max. 2 decimal places
Enter a value for the price ending for the items. Items having price endings closest to this value after a price change operation will be assigned this ending.
Example:
In the price group, there are the price endings of
.49 and .99. The Minimum Price is
EUR1.00 and the Maximum Price is
EUR5.00.
During a price change operation, the prices of the items 1 to 4 are increased by 15 %. The following prices of the items are calculated by the system:
By the assignment of a price group, the prices for these 4 items are stored with the following price endings:
