By use of this program, you can maintain the data for the various shelf label types, i.e. create new records, modify or delete existing data. You can view already stored data for information purposes.

At present there are two different programs available for shelf label print:
The Function entered defines the type of barcode labels, e.g. EAN8, EAN13, UPC, etc. and only applies in connection with the print program (print on matrix printer or on laser printer).

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Select the number of the company for which you would like to maintain the label print data. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number with which this label type is (to be) stored in the system.
When creating a new record, enter a free number in the Primary Key Fields.
For modifications or deletions, call the data record by entering the numbers in the primary key fields. If you do not know the numbers, you can select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 32 characters
Enter a name for the label. If possible, use descriptive names (such as layout, purpose etc.) to keep the overview of the variety of the label types stored in the system.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 20 characters
Enter the function to define the type of label print. This function is called up in an FGL file to define the layout for label print.
The following functions are available at present for print on a matrix printer:
Print on a matrix printer with Panda interface is called up from program Label via menu Report -> Print labels.

Label print on a laser printer is called up in the Item program via menu Report -> Basic data -> Print labels. Print can also be started from menu Report -> Print labels in program Supplier item

Enter the name of your printer. Please ensure that the spelling matches the entry in field Printer name in program List printer.
Field with firmly defined selection options
Select one of the offered options by clicking on this field and with a second click confirming what is required (as per the settings of your printer.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 – 9999
If more than one label type is to be linked to an item, the entries in this field define which label type is to be printed first.
