The data for a SCO interface can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which has already been stored can also be viewed for information.

Notes:
The entry "OSCAR_OPTIONS=: SelfCheckOut" in the file "oscar.ini" is necessary to activate the parameters for the configuration of the Self-Check-Out system.
After changing the environment variable "OSCAR_OPTIONS=" the following commands must be executed to ensure that the changes are activated in MICROS Retail OSCAR POS (convert, addAscFiles, init UiText, init DbText and dofgl.fgl Language).
The following details all options available for update of the basic data.
The following applies to this program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the company for which the defined SCO configuration is to be valid.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 999
Enter in this the number of the SCO configuration To add a new record, enter an unused SCO configuration number.
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.
Enter in this field the name of the SCO configuration. The name can be chosen as required, but it should be descriptive.
Field with firmly defined selection options
When this window is clicked on, a box showing all the defined SCO configuration types. Select the required SCO configuration type with a click.

Enter in this field the IP-Address for the communication of the Self-Check-Out System.

Enter in this field the Port number for the communication of the Self-Check-Out System.

Enter in this field the port number under the POS for the service is reachable. Only if the type "ITAB SCO API (Extern)" will be used..

Enter in this field a valid number of a SCO key mapping table.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
If the SCO key mapping table is not defined, you can switch to the SCO key mapping maintenance program by left-clicking the dropdown box next to the arrow symbol to create one.
