Suggested Deletion - Customer

Remarks on the Program Function
By use of this program, you can create a suggestion list in which the customer positions to be deleted from the database are stored.
Customers can be characterized as "Deleteable" under particular conditions in order to be deleted from the database later.

Attention!
When a Multi-Branch
Installation is used, this program for the characterization of deleteable
customers can only be started in the central (main installation). Attempts to
start the program in a branch (sub-installation) will be rejected with a
corresponding error message.
In a first step, the formal data, i.e. the selection data for the customer to be deleted, is created via the program Suggested Deletion - Customer.
In a second step, the suggestion list with the customers to be deleted is generated by a click on the button "Create List", and in a third step, you can edit the list with the customer positions by use of the program Suggested Deletion Customer Position before you finish the process.
Notes:
- The entire process of the creation of the
customer deletion suggestion list is only finished correctly after you
have clicked on the button shown below after
saving your entries via the tool bar:
- Execute
The transactions are carried out, and the customers who correspond to the selection criteria and the conditions receive the characterization "Deleteable". At the same time, the suggestion list receives the search status "Confirmed".
Please note:
After you have confirmed a suggestion list, you can still view but not edit the data.
Remarks on the Input Fields
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:
- The Input Mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some Data Fields may be missing.
- Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
- The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
- If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the Dialog Window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
- The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
- In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark color, deactivated switches are lighter-colored.
Company
Select the number of the company on the level of which the suggestion list for the deletion of customers is to be created.
If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
SD Customer No.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999
With a new suggestion list, you have to enter a new number in this field. If you enter a number which has already been stored in the system, the data of this suggestion list will be displayed.
Descriptor
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 20 chars.
You can enter a text describing this suggestion list.
Branch
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999
Displays the number of the branch in which this program has been started.
Operator
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999999
Displays the number of the operator who started this program.
Date
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
After the button "Execute" in the tool bar has been clicked on, the current date is stored in this field.
Time
Permitted input range: HHMMSS (hour, minute, second)
After the button "Execute" in the tool bar has been clicked on, the current time is stored in this field.
Cust. ref.
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Enter the date to define that only customers who have been created in the database up to this date will be included in the suggestion list.
Note:
Please note with a new creation of a
customer, the creation date is stored in the database. In the update program Customer, this date is displayed in the field "Creation Date".
Purchase ref.
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Enter a date to define that only customers who have made a purchase up to this date will be included in this suggestion list.
Update ref.
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Enter a date to define that only customers for whom an update in the database has been carried out up to this date will be included in this suggestion list.
Deliv. ref.
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)
Enter a date to define that only customers for whom a delivery has been carried out up to this date will be included in this suggestion list.
Min. balance
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 12 positions, max. 2 decimal digits
Enter an amount to define that only customers whose balance exceeds the entered amount will be included in this suggestion list.
Max. balance
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 12 positions, max. 2 decimal digits
Enter an amount to define that only customers whose balance is smaller than the entered amount will be included in this suggestion list.
From customer no.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 999999999
Enter the number of the customer from which on the assigned customers are to be included in the suggestion list.
To customer no.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 999999999
Enter the number of the customer up to which the assigned customers are to be included in the suggestion list.
