You can modify your entire document, as well as the individual controls within it, using the Properties and Formatting dialog box. The Properties and Formatting dialog box contains options to perform a wide variety of tasks with your document, including the following:
Modify the look and feel of individual controls, including font properties and background color.
Modify properties specific to the type of control, such as the target of a selector or the length of a line.
Adjust the position of controls.
Select a widget to use for a specific Grid/Graph.
The options displayed in the Properties and Formatting dialog box depend on the type of control or object selected. Therefore, some options may not be displayed.
The Properties and Formatting dialog box contains the following options. Click any of the properties below for help specific to that property.
For individual controls in the document, including text fields, selectors, widgets, and panel stacks:
Properties:
Selector
Note: Image, Grid, Line, and Selector will only appear in the Properties and Formatting dialog box when they are added to the document.
Widget
Note: The Widget option is only displayed if you select a Grid/Graph or widget.
Format:
Accessing the Properties and Formatting dialog box
Open the document to be formatted.
Right-click the control to format and select Properties and Formatting. The Properties and Formatting dialog box opens.
