Oracle recommends that you upgrade to a current supported release.
By default, the rhnsd daemon on a client system
connects to the Spacewalk server every four hours and performs any
updates or actions that you have scheduled. If you install the OSA
daemon, you can apply updates and actions to client systems
immediately from the Spacewalk server.
To allow you to perform remote configuration of client system from Spacewalk, you can install the remote configuration client packages on the remote system.
