Printing a Layout

Use this task to print a layout.

Before you begin this task, you must display the layout you want to print by drawing it.

To print a layout:

  1. On the Diagram page, click Print.
  2. In the Print Preview dialog box, complete this dialog box, as applicable.

    Notes:

    • You must have a default printer installed locally.
    • When the layout is drawn, it is optimized for printing using settings on the Page Setup tab of the Layout Options page. Be aware that modifying settings in the Print Preview dialog box that also appear in the Page Setup tab of the Layout Options page could alter the optimizations and impact the quality of the printed output. For example, changing paper size, orientation, or margins cause printing issues because the diagram was drawn with these specifications already defined.
