You can have only one layout open at a time.
You can draw a TSLD, for example, that can show:
- Up to three timescales that appear at the top and bottom of the diagram, and you can define and format each one, including displaying vertical sight lines
- Zoomed timescales within existing timescales
- Activities with relationships as close to each other in the graph as possible, including on the same row
- Activity bars according to your formatting
- Bars drawn using various dates
- Bar labels that you select, format, and specify locations for
- Formatted text on bar labels
- Draw bars on top of each other, for example, to show critical highlighting
- Relationship lines connecting activities that are formatted by you so as to more easily distinguish between the types of relationships
- Connections that show details for connected activities
- Activities grouped by data elements that you select, including Project ID, Project Name, WBS Path, activity codes, UDFs, hierarchy, group totals, grand group totals, and summary-only data
- Activities sorted in ascending or descending order by data elements that you select
- Show page breaks by group and show grouping by defined intervals
- Filters specific to and saved with layouts
- Title blocks for the diagram on pages that you specify
You can draw a Gantt chart, for example, that can show:
- Up to three timescales that appear at the top of the Gantt chart, and you can define and format each one, including displaying vertical sight lines
- Activities with relationships as close to each other in the graph as possible based on grouping and sorting
- Everything a TSLD can show, plus:
- Grids that display project activity information in a table format
- Customizable grid
You can draw a Schedule comparison, for example, that can show:
- The differences between two projects, two baselines, or a project and a baseline
- Comparisons of project information such as added or deleted activiteis or WBS nodes, general project information, general WBS information, project budgets
- Comparisons of activity information such as general activity information, activity code assignments, durations, steps, percentage complete
- Data grouped by activity or by data type.
