Action Services
The Action service enables marketers to create a service within a CX product that performs an action with the data it receives.
For Responsys, action services enable marketers to add an activity built by a 3rd party to their Program workflow. An action service passes enactment data from the marketer’s Program workflow to the App Provider’s system. For example, action services can be part of a Responsys Program workflow under the Apps stage.
For Responsys apps, most of the development effort will be focused on developing the actual service, as this is the component that contains the Design Time and Run Time elements of the app.
