Account ownership
You can import account owners from CRM for visibility in Oracle Eloqua. After importing owners, the ownership information appears on the Account Ownership tab of an account.
The table below shows the steps required to import account owners from available CRM.
Good to know
- Only a single account owner can be imported. In Oracle Sales, the owner is identified using the OwnerPartyId. In Salesforce, the owner is identified using the OwnerId.
- Account owners can be imported using the Oracle Sales and Salesforce apps. If you are not using these apps, refer to Oracle Eloqua Bulk API.

Owners are identified in Eloqua using their user name and details from the CRM.
- The order of account imports and user imports is not important.

Troubleshooting
After the imports run successfully, you can view the account owners on the Account Ownership tab.
To troubleshoot:
- If no owner appears in Eloqua:
- Verify the account imports ran successfully.
- Verify that the account imports are using the required unique identifier mapping. Use the table above for the required mapping.
- If the CRM User ID appears in Eloqua, but not the user name:
- Verify that the user import ran successfully.
- Verify that the user imports are using the required unique identifier mapping. Use the table above for the required mapping.
