Finding Predefined E-Document Template Files for Brazil

The Brazil Certification Tax Authorities SuiteApp provides predefined e-document template files for several Brazilian tax authorities.

The SuiteApp also provides predefined e-document templates for you to create inbound e-document records and convert them into NetSuite transactions.

You can download the predefined template files to your computer and, if you want, customize them according to your business needs.

The predefined files are available in your account’s File Cabinet. For more information about the File Cabinet, see Searching for and Viewing Files in the File Cabinet.

After you download and possibly customize the templates, create e-document template records for them in NetSuite. For more information, see Creating E-Document Templates.

To find predefined e-document template files for Brazil:

  1. Go to Documents > Files > File Cabinet.

  2. In the sidebar or list, click SuiteApps.

    The files and folders within this folder appear.

  3. Click the com.netsuite.brazilcertificationtaxauth folder.

  4. Click the braziltemplates folder.

  5. If you want to download templates for electronic invoices for goods, next to the Goods folder, click Download.

    NetSuite downloads all the e-document templates in the folder.

  6. If you want to download templates for electronic invoices for services, click the Services folder.

    1. If the tax authority uses its own templates, do the following:

      1. Click the folder named after the state where the tax authority is located.

        For example, if you want to find the templates for the city of São Paulo, click the SP folder.

      2. Click the folder named after the city.

      3. Find the template file you want and click Download.

    2. If the tax authority templates adopts a third-party or the NFS-e Nacional standard, do the following:

      1. Click the folder named after the standard.

        For example, if the city adopts the ABRASF standard, click the ABRASF folder.

      2. If the standard contains different versions, click the folder named after the version adopted by the tax authority.

      3. Next to the template file you want, click Download.

        The folder may contain templates for both synchronous and asynchronous communication. Ensure you download the templates that match the method of communication used by the tax authority to which you want to send e-documents.

  7. If you want to download templates for the GNRE tax collection forms, do the following:

    1. Click the GNRE folder.

    2. Click the National folder.

    3. Find the template file you want and click Download.

  8. If you want to download templates to send receiver acknowledgment events, do the following:

    1. Click the Receiver-Acknowledgment folder.

    2. Find the template file you want and click Download.

  9. If you want to download templates to transform inbound e-documents into NetSuite transactions, do the following:

    1. Click the E-Document Conversion folder.

    2. Find the template file you want and click Download.
