Total Open Estimates Report
The Total Open Estimates register lists estimates that are still in progress.
With Narrative Insights, you can use generative AI to summarize the report, helping you review total open estimates and easily spot the most promising sales opportunities for action.
The generated insights may include:

The total value of open estimates
-
A prioritized list of open estimates, including customer name, amount, status, and expiration date

Spotlight on the most valuable estimates to help you focus on high-potential deals
To generate an insight on the Total Open Estimates report, the Enable Narrative Insights preference must be enabled in the Narrative Insights tab of the AI Preferences page. This preference is enabled by default. For more information, see Managing Narrative Insights Preferences.

To view the Total Open Estimates Register report, go to Opportunities > Reports > Total Open Estimates.
A message appears indicating that your report is loading. The status bar in the footer of the report shows the progress as your report loads. You can click Cancel Report next to the status bar to stop the report from loading.
This report doesn't support reporting by period even when the Report by Period preference is set to All Reports. You can configure the Report by Period preference. Go to Home > Set Preferences. The preference is on the Analytics subtab.
To generate an insight on the Total Open Estimates report, click the Generate Insight button.
The Narrative Insights dialog is displayed. You can generate this insight again at any time by clicking the Generate Insight button.
You can filter the report before generating the insight to make sure it includes only what you need.
Insights may differ each time they're generated, even when you're viewing the same data.
