Pipeline by Sales Rep Summary Report
The Pipeline by Sales Rep Summary report shows the projected and weighted totals of all open opportunities and estimates in each sales rep's pipeline. It also shows the expected close dates within a date range you define.
The projected total of a transaction is the total amount that appears on the transaction. The weighted total is the product of the projected total and the probability of close.

With Narrative Insights, you can use generative AI to summarize the report, helping you analyze pipeline performance, monitor trends for each sales representative, and identify opportunities that drive sales success.
The generated insights may include:

The top open deal with the largest value
-
The overall pipeline value for all open deals

The number of open deals across all sales reps
-
Top-performing sales reps based on total pipeline value
To generate an insight on the Pipeline by Sales Rep Summary report, the Enable Narrative Insights preference must be enabled in the Narrative Insights tab of the AI Preferences page. This preference is enabled by default. For more information, see Managing Narrative Insights Preferences.

To view the Pipeline by Sales Rep Summary report:
Go to Opportunities > Reports > Pipeline by Sales Rep.
A popup message appears to let you know your report is loading. The status bar in the footer of the report indicates the progress as your report loads. You can click Cancel Report next to the status bar to stop the report from loading.
This report does not support reporting by period even when the Report by Period preference is set to All Reports. You can configure the Report by Period preference. Go to Home > Set Preferences. The preference is on the Analytics subtab.
To generate an insight on the Pipeline by Sales Rep Summary report:

Filter the report to include only the information you want the insight to reflect.

Click the Generate Insight button.
The Narrative Insights dialog is displayed. You can generate the insight again at any time by clicking the Generate Insight button.
Insights may differ each time they're generated, even when you're viewing the same data.
