Sales Orders by Customer Detail Report
The Sales Orders by Customer Detail report shows the approved sales orders and return authorizations for each customer during the date range you select.
You can add the Sales (Orders) key performance indicator (KPI) to your dashboard to provide at-a-glance views of totals for this report. For more information about KPIs, see Setting Up the Key Performance Indicators Portlet.
With Narrative Insights, you can use generative AI to summarize the Sales Orders by Customer Detail report, helping you focus on customers with highly valued sales orders so you can direct efforts toward high-potential opportunities.
The generated insights may include:

A prioritized list of customers with the highest sales order values and the total open amount for these high-value customers

An overview indicating whether sales order revenue is concentrated among a few customers or more widely distributed
-
Information about the number of small customers and their combined sales order contribution
To generate an insight on the Sales Orders by Customer Detail report, the Enable Narrative Insights preference must be enabled in the Narrative Insights tab of the AI Preferences page. This preference is enabled by default. For more information, see Managing Narrative Insights Preferences.

To view the Sales Orders by Customer Detail report:
Go to Customers > Customer Reports > Sales Orders by Customer > Detail.
A popup message appears to let you know your report is loading. The status bar in the footer of the report indicates the progress as your report loads. You can click Cancel Report next to the status bar to stop the report from loading.
This report does not support reporting by period even when the Report by Period preference is set to All Reports. You can configure the Report by Period preference. Go to Home > Set Preferences. The preference is on the Analytics subtab.
To generate an insight on the Sales Orders by Customer Detail report:

Filter the report to include only the information you want the insight to reflect.

Click the Generate Insight button.
The Narrative Insights dialog is displayed. You can generate the insight again at any time by clicking the Generate Insight button.
Insights may differ each time they're generated, even when you're viewing the same data.
