Defining Permit Templates

The Permit Template portal is used to maintain a list of permit templates.

Refer to Understanding Permit Templates for more information.

You can access this portal from Admin, select P, then select Permit Templates. The user is brought to a query portal with options for searching for a specific permit template. Once the template has been selected, you are brought to the maintenance portal to view and maintain the selected record.

The following zone may appear as part of the portals Main tab page:

• Permit Template: This zone provides information about the selected permit template. This zone can also include information on the valid checklist types and planned service history, as well as for additional resources, such as labor and material for internal permits.
• Notes: This zone lists notes associated with the permit template.
• Attachments: This zone displays attachments associated with the permit template. Attachments added here are made available as reference information related to the permit template and are available on a work activity.
