Associating a Price List with an Offer

Prerequisites

To associate an offer with a price list, you should have:

  • Price list defined in the application.

Procedure

To associate an offer with a price list:

  1. Ensure that the is Price List zone expanded in the of Price List page when you are associating the offer with the Price List.

    The Price List zone contains Search Price List section.

    The Search Price List section contains the following fields:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Price List ID or Description Used to indicate whether you want to search for a price list using the price list details. No
    Start Date Used to specify the date from when the price list of the product is effective. No
    End Date Used to specify the date till when the price list of the product is effective. No

    The Search Results section contains the following fields:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Select Used to indicate whether the price list is selected or not. Yes
    Price List ID or Description Displays the price list id and name. Not applicable
    Start Date Displays the date from when the price list of the product is effective. Not applicable
    End Date Displays the date till when the price list of the product is effective. Not applicable
  2. Select the required price list in the grid, to associate with the offer.
  3. Click Back button, to go back to Services page.
  4. Click Save as Draft, to save the offer in the draft.
  5. Click Select and Proceed, to go to Price List Added section. It contains the following fields in the grid:
    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Priority Indicates the order in which the assigned price list must be considered while determining the price item pricing for the offer. No
    Price List ID or Description Used to indicate whether you want to search for a price list using the price list details. No
    Validity Period Used to specify the period date range or number of days for which the price list is valid. It is used to calculate price list assignment validity end date while assigning the price list to the offer. The valid values are:
    • Date Range
    • Number of Days
    		 No
  6. Add, edit or delete the required price list in the grid, to associate with the offer.
  7. Click Add More button, to go back to previous section to add and associate the price list with the offer.
  8. Click Back button, to go back to Services page.
  9. Click Save as Draft, to save the offer in the draft.
    The offer is saved as draft in the application.
  10. Click Submit.
    A window appears confirming the offer is submitted in the system.
  11. Click the Close button in the confirmation window.
    The offer is added.
    Tip: Alternatively, you can access the Offer Information screen by clicking the Add Market Product button in the Page Title area of the Offer screen.
