Diagnosis Types

Diagnosis types are used to specify the type of diagnoses, as may be specified on claims, claim lines and/or bills. Diagnosis types are created and maintained in OHI Claims Adjudication and Pricing. The product building blocks integration point imports diagnosis types into Oracle Health Insurance Product Definition. In Oracle Health Insurance Product Definition diagnosis types only contain identifying attributes. Diagnosis types therefore do not have their own page in Oracle Health Insurance Product Definition and cannot be deleted or modified.

Description	The description for this diagnosis type

A user selects a diagnosis type from a list of values when creating a new service definition.
