Location Types

A location type specifies the type of location where a service can be rendered. Location Types are created and maintained in OHI Claims Adjudication and Pricing. The product building blocks integration point imports location types into Oracle Health Insurance Product Definition. In Oracle Health Insurance Product Definition location types only contain identifying attributes and a referenced claim form type. Location Types therefore do not have their own page in Oracle Health Insurance Product Definition and cannot be deleted or modified.

Field	Description
UUID	Unique identifier across OHI modules
Code	The code for this location type
Description	The description of the location type
Claim Form Type	A reference to the used claim form type
Active Indicator	Indicator if the location type can be used for service definitions

A user selects a location type from a list of values when creating a new service definition.
