Configuring Jumbo Frames on the Onboard Network Interface Controller

Your Oracle Server X5-4 includes an internal Intel X540 Ethernet controller, similar to the Sun Dual Port 10GBase-T Adapter. It can be configured to support jumbo frame sizes up to 15.5 KB. The default frame size is 1.5 KB.
