When designing a wireless site, consider how the screen display and the inputting tools on a wireless device cause the site requirements to differ from those on a WWW site. The processor on a PDA or phone doesn’t benefit from the speed provided by a PC processor so you may want to keep graphics at a minimum. Wireless devices are most effective when providing small amounts of information to their users. It is a good idea to limit the text sent to a wireless device so that it can display adequately on the screen with little scrolling. If you must provide forms to accept information via a wireless device, keep the fields to a minimum and, when possible, provide enumerated lists from which users can select.
