Overview

Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center is Oracle's comprehensive system management solution for monitoring and managing the physical and virtual operating systems, servers, and storage devices in your data center.

Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center manages a SPARC SuperCluster differently from a traditional data center asset. A SPARC SuperCluster is managed as its own, self-contained data center, with Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center installed and run internally on SPARC SuperCluster. The entire SPARC SuperCluster can be passively monitored as one asset by the data center Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center, but any active management of the SPARC SuperCluster components must occur from the internal Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center instance on SPARC SuperCluster.

The following sections describe using Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center on SPARC SuperCluster. These sections assume you are logging in to the instance of Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center that is installed on SPARC Supercluster.
