After installing the Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Windows Server R2 SP1 drivers, the Windows Device Manager reports that the virtual Ethernet device is not installed. Oracle System Assistant does not provide the driver for this interface. The driver is available with the Oracle Hardware Management Pack.

To obtain this driver, install the Oracle Hardware Management Pack, which is available as a supplemental tool on Oracle System Assistant.
To disable this device and prevent it from appearing in the Windows Device Manager, use the ilomconfig disable interconnect command.
