During Windows OS Installation, if the user does not install the Oracle Hardware Management Pack, the Device Manager reports the virtual Eth device as "Not Installed" in Microsoft Windows 2012 R2.

Workaround:
To disable this device and prevent it from appearing in Device Manager, use the ilomconfig disable interconnect command. If you have not installed Oracle Hardware Management Pack, you will need to install it in order to get the ilomconfig CLI tool. Alternatively, this device can be disabled using the ILOM GUI.
