Oracle Solaris 11.1 OS	The OS is installed on drive 0, using a ZFS file system.	Host OS. Mandatory package updates and patches might not be preinstalled. Ensure that you obtain and install all mandatory updates for patches before you put the server into production.See Required OS Patches and Package Updates.
Oracle VM Server for SPARC	`/opt/SUNWldm`	Manages logical domains.
Oracle VTS	`/usr/sunvts`	Provides hardware validation tests.

The preinstalled OS is ready to be configured at the appropriate point when you first apply power to the server.

Review Required OS Patches and Package Updates to find out if the preinstalled OS requires package updates.

You can reinstall the OS and install patches instead of using the preinstalled OS. See SPARC M5-32 Server Minimum Supported Versions of the Firmware, OS, and Software.
