statvfs Fails on 32 TB Memory Configurations (17362334)

If your server is configured with 32 Terabytes of memory, a statvfs system call to the tmpfs filesystem might fail with an eoverflow error. For example, a message similar to this might be seen on the host console:

Sep 10 22:10:51 sca-m432-108-pd0 svc.startd[11]: [ID 652011 daemon.warning]
svc:/system/fmd:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/svc-fmd" failed with exit
status 1.

The overflow originates from the member of the data structure that provides the maximum allowed file count for the tmpfs filesystem.

Workaround: In the /etc/system file, limit the number of files that tmpfs is allowed to avoid the overflow.

set tmpfs:tmpfs_maxkmem = 1200000000000
