When you can click on search text in the panel, it is added to your current search criteria in the Research page (although the application will not jump to the Research page if you are in another page). In addition, although the text is added to your search criteria list, a search is not run.
You can right-click on any text to:
Add to criteria (this is the same as behavior as above)
Add to criteria and run Search
