You can create an ATG Portal application that is customized for your organization’s needs. Use the basic portal contained in <ATG11dir>/Portal/paf/starter-portal/paf-dar/portal.war and modify it as described in the Creating a New Portal section of this chapter.

The Customizing Portal Appearance section of this chapter also explains and illustrates the options and procedures available for customizing your portal. Among other things, you can add style elements, such as color palettes, stylesheets, and templates
