The following diagram shows an example of an agent’s workflow when adding an item to a cart. Each of the REST MVC calls performs an action that propels the agent through the workflow. Note that depending on the actions required, the process may flow differently.

This example begins with the agent logging in to the REST server, and ends when the customer is sent an order confirmation e-mail.
