Update the Base Software

  1. Log in to the first PDomain.
  2. Determine if your system has the correct level of base software installed.
    # pkg info entire
    
    • If you see output similar to the following, where you have the build level shown below or later, then you have the correct level of software installed. Go to Determine the Repository Location:
      FMRI: pkg://solaris/entire@0.5.11,5.11-0.175.3.1.0.5.0:20130504T024145Z 
      

      where the values shown in bold above denote:

      • Solaris 11 Update 3 OS

      • SRU 1

      • Build 5 or later

    • If you do not have the correct level of software installed (if you have a build earlier than Oracle Solaris 11.3, SRU 1.5), follow these instructions to get the latest version of the software:
      1. Log in to MOS.

      2. Select the Patches & Updates tab.
      3. In the Patch Search panel, select Product or Family (Advanced).
      4. In the Product field, search for and select Oracle SuperCluster M8 or Oracle SuperCluster M7.

        Select any of the Oracle SuperCluster M8 or Oracle SuperCluster M7 options.

      5. In the Release field, select the SuperCluster V2.0 release or later.
      6. Click the Search button.
      7. Select the QUARTERLY FULL STACK DOWNLOAD PATCH FOR SUPERCLUSTER (release-date) (PATCH) option.
      8. Click the Read Me button to get installation instructions for the patch.
      9. Click the Download button to download the ZIP files for the patch.
