The Oracle Exadata Storage Server X6-2 Extreme Flash is an 8-slot NVM Express (NVMe) solid state disk (SSD) configuration designed in the Oracle Server X6-2L form factor with no changes to the chassis, motherboard, fans, PCIe slots, or rear IO. This configuration uses up to 8 of the existing 24 slots in the disk cage. The chassis supports six Gen3 PCIe slots, two of which are x16 while the remaining four are x8.
