Remarks on the Program Function

With this program, you can update the data for alert conditions, i.e. create new data records, alter or delete existing records. You can also view the stored data for information purposes.

An alert will only be generated in the OCAR program if a subscriber for the alert message has been set up in the system and if the corresponding alert parameters with their specific alert conditions have been defined.

Alert Condition Type

Field with defined selection options

In this field you can define the type of alert condition of which you would like to update the parameters.
Select one of the alert condition types provided of which you would like to view the alerts: Click in the field and select the condition type of your choice with another mouseclick.

The system offers you a selection from the following alert condition types:

 

Example (Db conditions):

An alert message is required at the administration desk for a specific operator, e.g. when the amount in a drawer exceeds a limit of 5000 €.

The following parameters should be set under Alert conditions:

 

NOTE:
If no value is set for IntervalNo. (year = 1, month = 2, week = 3, day = 4, shif = 5) it is possible that the warning message appears at the administration desk several time if the hard total is set for statistics table for several periods.


Installation Type no.

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999

Enter the number of the installation type you would like to assign to this alert condition. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search function.


Alert Parameter

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999

Enter the number of the alert parameter you would like to assign to this alert condition. If you do not know the number, you can select the data record via the Search function.

Note:
Depending on the Alert condition type, you may assign an alert parameter of the same category only (e.g. alert parameter DB Batch and DB Runtime for DB conditions only).


Alert Condition

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999

Enter the number of the alert condition under which this data record is/ will be saved in the database.


Name

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 20 chars.

Enter a name for this alert condition.
