The following program description deals with:


Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program you can maintain the state data of each stock item in the system, i.e. insert new records, edit and delete the existing ones. You can also display the data on the screen for enquiry only.


Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.

Just like in almost any other program:


Company

Perwithted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the company to which the stock item is assigned. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.


Branch

Perwithted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the branch to which the stock item is assigned. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.


Stock No.

Perwithted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Enter the number of the stock location to which the stock item is assigned. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.


Item

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 14 digits with no decimal places

Enter the number of the stock item. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.


Department

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999

In this field the number of the assigned department is displayed. This number can be used as a selection criteria for the reports of the stock item state.

Note:

After take over of an older database, this entry will be updated after the first change of the stock item state only.

With the FGL script Script " patchStockItemStDept.fgl" the stock item state for all stock items can be updated (use the command oscar patchStockItemStDept.fgl Language).


Quantity in Stock

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the quantity in stock of the item in its base unit is displayed.

Note:
Buttons "Check min.stock" and "Check null stock" should be activated in program Profit center -> Add.data. A warning is then sent during the sales program if the stock falls below the limits defined in program Stock item.

The sales screen can also be activated to allow for permanent display of the stocks and order results. More information can be found in the documentation "Stock information at POS".


Count

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the quantity in stock of the item in its stock unit is displayed.


Crate count (Beverage)

Entry range permitted: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The number of whole crates (pack) is shown in this field.


Bottles w.o.crate (Beverage)

Entry range permitted: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The count of individual items without crate is displayed in this window.

Example:
This item is stored as crate (pack) à 24 bottles. The current stock is 137 bottles. Of these 5 crates are in stock (5 crates x 24 bottles = 120 total). 17 bottles are in stock without a crate.


Qty missing in crate (Beverage)

Entry range permitted: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The number of bottles missing from a crate (pack) is displayed in this field.

Example:
This item is stored as a box (pack) à 12 bottles. The current stock reading is 523 bottles. Of these there are 44 boxes in stock (44 boxes x 12 bottles = 528 bottles). 5 bottles are missing from one pack. (44 x 12) – 5 = 523).


Stock val.w.o.deposit (RP) (Beverage)

Entry range permitted: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The retail price without deposit price of the whole stock of this item is shown in this field.


Stock val.w.o.deposit (CP) (Beverage)

Entry range permitted: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The cost price without deposit price of the whole stock of this item is shown in this field.


Deposit value (Beverage)

The deposit price of the whole stock of this item is shown in this field.

 


Quantity in Orders

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the total quantity of stock in outstanding orders is displayed. The values shown here will be reduced when a delivery has been made.


Customer request

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The value shown here is the order quantity for a customer order which could not be filled from stock.

This value will be reduced accordingly with the next order to a supplier.

Note:
With item recording within a customer order the stock of each item will be checked and the result is shown at the checkout in the bottom line of the display as follows:


Customer qu.in order

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

This field shows the count of all open customer orders for which there are no items in stock, but for which an order has already been placed with the supplier.

After delivery (goods received) the value shown here is reduced by the appropriate quantity.


Aloof for cust.

Perwithted entry range: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The number of items reserved for customer orders appears in this field. When the customer picks the goods up or cancels the order, the value displayed will be reduced by the appropriate quantity.

Note:
When items are recorded in a customer order, the system checks the stock of each item and shows the result in the bottom line of the display.

The status for the stock appears as follow in the display:


Order Branch

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

The count of all open orders "To Central", "To Central Warehouse" or "To Branch" is shown (see Internal order to central, Central warehouse and Branch). After completed return and delivery, the values displayed here will be cleared.


Requested branch

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

This field displays the count of all open order requests "To Central", "To central warehouse" or "To branch" (see Internal order to central, Central warehouse and Branch). The values shown here are cleared after successful return (delivery confirmation).


Quantity requested

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits with max. 3 decimal places

This field shows the count of all open internal orders. The values displayed are cleared after moves have been completed.


Last Price

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the last purchase price of the item per unit is displayed.

Note:
This supplier item price depends on the option " Inclusive VAT." or Exclusive VAT which has been set in program Supplier.


Calc. Cost Price

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the average cost price of the item is displayed. The price is calculated in the system as follows:

Example:
Stock on hand = 3
Stock addition 1 x 1 pc. at a price of 10,00 EUR each
Stock addition 1 x 2 pcs. at a price of 15,00 EUR each
Stock value total is 40,00 EUR
divided by 3 pcs = 13,33 EUR calc.cost price


Quantity Sold

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the quantity sold of the item in its base unit is displayed.


Sold Value/Cost Price

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the value of the quantity sold of the item is displayed.


Average weekly sales

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 13 digits with max. 3 decimal places

This field shows the average value for the sales per week. The period on which this calculation is based is defined in field  " Sales/Week" in program Stock item group.

Note:
Values are only shown in this field if a sales-based order suggestion has been programmed for this item.

Sold week to date

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 13 digits with max. 3 decimal places

In diesem Feld wird der Wert die Anzahl der Verkäufe für diesen Artikel in der laufenden Woche angezeigt.


Sold week to date

The value and the count of sales of this item in the previous week is displayed in this field.


Sold month to date

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 13 digits with max. 3 decimal places

This field shows the value and count of sales of this item in the current month.


Sold year to date

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 13 digits with max. 3 decimal places

This field shows the value and count of sales of this item in the year under report.

 


Turnover since inventory

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the total turnover of the item since the last inventory is displayed.


Buffet since last Inv.

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places

In this field the buffet turnover of the item since the last inventory is displayed.


Internal transfer value

Perwithted input range: decimal, max. 13 digits including max. 3 decimal places

The "Internal transfer value" of this stock item since the last inventory is shown in this field.

The internal transfer value is the value of the item stored as a result of goods received and goods outgoing from sales, production and transfer in the system. This value is cleared after completion of an inventory.


Last Delivery

Perwithted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)

In this field the date of the last delivery is displayed.


Last Inventory

Perwithted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)

In this field the date of the last inventory is displayed.


Last sell

Perwithted input range: DDMMYYYY (day, month, year)

In this field the date of the last sale is displayed.
