With this program you can maintain the stock items, i.e. insert new records, edit and delete the existing ones. You can also display the data on the screen for enquiry only.
Please note that items which have been identified in program Item as stock items can only be linked to a stock location.

Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the company to which this stock item is to be assigned. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the branch to which this stock item is to be assigned. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the stock location to which this stock item is to be assigned. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 14 digits
Enter the number of the stock item. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.

The no. of the supplier who is preferred to deliver this item can be entered in this field. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
This link of a supplier only defines that you prefer to buy this item from him. This supplier will be offered for an order.
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 11 digits including max. 3 decimal places
Enter a value for the minimum stock level of this item. With an order suggestion, the system checks whether minimum stock is lower than the entry.
In program Item the order type also has to be set and this defines whether the field minimum or maximum stock is to be evaluated for an order suggestion.
Note:
In program Profit
center -> Add.data you can activate the button "Check minimum
stock" and "Check zero stock". A warning message will then be
displayed if one of the stock values is lower than the stock entry.
A permanent display of the stock and order values can also be activated for the sales screen. Further details can be found in the documentation "Stock information at till".

Enter a value to define the maximum stock for this stock item. With an order suggestion, the system checks whether maximum stock is lower than the entry.
The order type must also be set in program Item to define whether the field Minimum stock or Maximum stock is to be evaluated for an order suggestion.
Note:
In program Profit
center -> Add. data you can activate the buttons "Check minimum
stock" and "Check zero stock" to ensure that a warning message
is displayed when these stock levels are lower than the entry in this field.

Field with firmly defined selection options
Select one of the offered options to define the stock location for this stock item. Click on this field and with a second click define the required stock location.
The system offers the following order categories:

Enter the number of the stock item group to which this stock item is to be linked. If you do not know the number, the data record can be selected with the Search function.
Stock item groups are maintained in program Application -> Stock -> Stock item group.
Note:
Stock items are compiled into stock item
groups. An order suggestion dependent on sales should be carried out.

This field is needed for a sales-based order suggestion.
Enter a value to define the number of days which should elapse before this item should be ordered from a supplier.
Note:
An Order interval can also be
defined in program Supplier. The entry in program Stock item always has priority
over the entry in program Supplier.

Button activated: This item is a cost item.
Button deactivated: This item is not a cost item.
This button is only used to identify items which are stored in the system as Cost item, e.g.. serviettes, toiletries, table cloths, etc.. Items marked as cost items are normally not sold, they are only kept in stock so that the costs can be recorded. Stock movements of these items result only from goods in and stock transfers.
Button activated: Manual price entry is possible for this item during delivery or return delivery.
Button deactivated: Manual price entry is not possible for this item during delivery or return delivery.
