Remarks on the Program Function

Every transaction that results in a stock movement is stored in the stock item LOG file. The recording of all transactions requires that the option History and Log has been selected as the Stock Item Log Type in the update program Branch-> Details 2.

Remarks on the Input Fields

This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.

Just like in almost any other program:

• The Input Mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some Data Fields may be missing.
• Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
• The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
• If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the Dialog Window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
• The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
• In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark color, deactivated switches are lighter-colored.

The recording of all of the following transactions requires that the option History and Log has been selected as the Stock Item Log Type in the update program Branch-> Details 2.

In the stock item LOG file, the following types of stock movements are stored:

• Delivery
  Stock movements by delivery caused by a Supplier Order.
• Stock Movement
  Stock movements by Stock Movement within a branch.
• Receipt Trans.
  Stock movements by sale.
• Stock Movement out
  Stock movements by Stock Movement out to another branch.
• Stock Movement in
  Stock movements by Stock Movement in from another branch.
• Loss
  Stock movements by Shrinkage and Loss.
• Production
  Stock movements by Production of Recipes for a stock.
• Inventory
  Stock movements by Inventories.
• Delivery Note
  Stock movements by Incoming Goods caused by a Delivery Note.
• Return
  Stock Movements by Returns.
• Goods rec
  Goods received by Goods received
• Ret. Deliv.
  Goods returned to suppliers by Return delivery

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

The company number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999

The branch number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

The stock number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.

Item

Permitted input range: decimal, max. 14 positions

The item number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.

Transact. date

Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (dy, month, year)

Date on which the transaction has been stored.

Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999

Position number within the stock item LOG file.

Stock turnover

Permitted input range: decimal, max. 13 positions, max. 3 decimal digits

Stock turnover for this booking transaction.
