Every transaction that results in a stock movement is stored in the stock item LOG file. The recording of all transactions requires that the option History and Log has been selected as the Stock Item Log Type in the update program Branch-> Details 2.
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.

In the stock item LOG file, the following types of stock movements are stored:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
The company number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99999
The branch number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
The stock number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 14 positions
The item number is already preset by the selection of the related stock item.
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (dy, month, year)
Date on which the transaction has been stored.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Position number within the stock item LOG file.
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 13 positions, max. 3 decimal digits
Stock turnover for this booking transaction.
Permitted input range: decimal, max. 13 positions, max. 3 decimal digits
Quantity of this booking transaction.
Permitted input range: DDMMYYYY (dy, month, year)
Last date on which the transaction has been recorded.
